Back to Studio

Today was a big day. For the first time in my motherhood career, both of my children are in school full time. My youngest started kindergarten today and my eldest is in the 2nd grade. Except for a few small breaks, I have been with my children all summer, 16 waking hours and all night long. Today marks a big life change for me and my family.

So, this morning, after walking my kids to school and enjoying a silent cup of coffee, I went to my studio. It's been crying out for attention all summer long, and now I can sink in, listen deeply and get to work. It's been too long.

You made it to today! Hooray, hooray!! Patience, persistence, humor - you are awesome! Hope you sink into the stillness of the surroundings (for a little while) and breathe!!

I was memorized by your photo shoot of Richard Murray's home and stopped by to revisit them. Next thing I know, I'm reading through your blog and find your interests. lifestyle, philosophies, etc., really resonate with me. I had a sister with special needs who passed three years ago. I use creativity to center myself amidst the dramas of life and don't know how I'd survive without it.

Best wishes on your new studio adventures, I am excited for you!

Beulah! I'm so glad you found me here. Thank you for falling down the internet rabbit hole and landing at La Maison Boheme. I hope you come back for more!
