Knitting in the Margins

I've been in rehearsals for four weeks now at USF. My time has been divided between learning lines and blocking and caring for my little ones. There isn't much time for other pursuits, although I have had a chance to knit during those in between moments.

Waiting in the wings for my scenes provides a great opportunity to knock off a few rows. Knitting is the perfect back stage activity because I can keep my head up and my ears open. Books are entirely too absorbing and I could easily miss a cue. This summer I foresee a lot of knitting.

Almost done.
Off to the knitting store for more yarn!

Best mobile craft ever. What yarn is that that you're using and what's the pattern you're knitting?

It's 100 percent wool - I don't know the brand. And the pattern is my own - a cowl with a popcorn stitch and a double ribbed hem.
