Houzz Tour | Ann & Mike Williams

Let's take a look at my latest home tour on Houzz.com! This fabulous madcap cottage belongs to Ann and Mike Williams of Fort Worth, Texas. Ann is a true mixologist when it comes to patterns, textiles and furniture. Her home is a riot of eye-popping color and eclectic art. Ann's curated interiors sometimes teeter on the edge of chaos, but the overall effect is one of cozy cohesion. I loved meeting this creative couple and spending time in their extraordinary home.

After 18 years of raising their two daughters in Fredericksburg, Texas, the Williamses decided to downsize. A new job for Mike took them to Fort Worth, where they began their hunt for the right home. “I’m not sure what my style is, because I don’t try to create any certain look,” says Ann. “I choose what I love, what makes my heart sing, and it all seems to work together — most of the time!”

And here is the lady of the house, Ann Williams, in her favorite chair. Ann used to author the blog Hill Country House, but has been on hiatus since her move to Fort Worth. I hope she considers writing again! Check out her archives HERE.

Love this happy home with so much color and art. Went to full article and noticed painting by Michael Madzo. I have a couple of his wonderful, fantasy artworks that truly do make my heart sing.
