Sideboards and other specimens

I love my all black, low profile sideboard, but sometimes I wish I had something with a little more story or pop.  I also love the idea of an old radio or record console as a sideboard.  Here are a few lovely options:

I am loving that last sideboard... I love how tall it is and I love the interesting rounded/rectangular shapes that make up this precious piece!

The last one is the best! I love the maple colored wood with the inky blue and the art!

I had never thought of the idea of an old radio or stereo as a sideboard! What a great concept ...

Sideboards probably aren't the piece of furniture most people think of as inspirational, but I think there's a wealth of possibilities with them!

Wow, I am completely crushing on that curvey sideboard with the number on it...I'm with you, pieces with character and stories are the best! I think I might start making up stories about mine...oh that old thing? Yep, I got it from an old speakeasy in Louisiana from my great uncle who also happens to be the world record holder for swallowing goldfish...oh yeah, that's a good one! (c:

Me too! That last one needs to come live with me someday!
P.S. If I tried to pull off that tulle dress with the chucks, I'd look like the biggest fairy fool ever! Ha!
