Tile and Textile

Once again, I am completely seduced into the world of heavily layered and ornate spaces.  I guess, I'm just not meant for simple, clean interiors.  I love Swedish and modern design as much as the next girl, but my Bohemain heart beats a little faster when I see photos like the ones below.

Honey, I'm the last person you have to convince of boho luxe's fabulousness. ;)

Wonderful images and colors !
I have to add more colors to my rooms, after the summer, when it is not so dreadfully hot.

Oh my goodness....this is lush.
Perfection, real luxe living.
I'm dying for the Arabic calligraphy floor treatment.
Great inspiration here for our place in Cairo.
Oh, and I have to agree, much as I love to drool over impeccably-styled, clean, mod, spare images, layered spaces are the ones I live in.
Cheers, Alcira

Then you need to visit Gina's blog, http://ginaceramics.blogspot.com/!
She paints those tiles- they look totally authentic. her style is probably more Italian, but she loves color.

What a beautiful collection of images full of rich imagery. I love the layered opulence of these interiors. I love the idea of sparse and clean but like you, it's just not my personal style. I just found your blog today (via google alert!)and I love it, it's book marked and I'll be back.
