Repeat Repeat

One of my favorite ways to showcase just about anything and lift its presence in my home is to create a repeated pattern.  It is a sure-fire way to elevate the presence of your artwork or collections.  I love the examples below.

via Style at Home
via One Day I Saw
via Chutzpah Rummage
via Home Life

The fun part about using a repeated pattern is that your object can be anything - I mean anything - and it takes on a life of its own.  Postcards, clocks, found objects and even as you see below: Pez dispensers.

Here is my son's artwork in our entryway.
Its not a great photo, but you get the idea.

Went back to read about it -- how great it's your son's art work!!!

I love the "last one" also :)
We do this to a small degree, with pairs or three's.. I find the hardest part of hanging things like this is getting all the frames exactly even with each other .. not good for someone who leans towards Obsessive :)

Definitely got my attention when I walked into your home. Love, love, love it.

I love the idea of collections working as a piece of art.
