Butterflies for Babies

Okay... they're not just for babies. I want one for myself too. I've got a few new babies in my life and I'm thinking about making a mobile. I like these:

Terrarium

I miss having a garden. If you, like me, live in an apartment with no gardening options, you might consider a terrarium. They remind me of that silly Saturday Night Live skit where every little box, jar and container was inspected and followed by the catch phrase was "You put your weed in it."

Tree House

I've stumbled upon some spectacular tree shaped decals and paint treatments for interior walls. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a Birch or an Oak or an Ash sprouting up from behind your living room furniture. Well here's your chance!

Poppy and Aqua

Almost every Monday, Jenny from My Favorite and My Best showcases a color combo. She inspired me to do a little poking around. You see, my living room is a turquoise color and I cannot find an accent color that pleases me. I have a ton of red pillows, lamps, chochkees and accessories lying about, but I've been afraid to put these seemingly opposite colors together. No more! Check out the red and aqua palettes below. Tea Cozy

My father is on his way home to Scotland today. In honor of his journey, I thought I'd showcase his favorite thing about the UK. Tea. Safe journey dad.

I returned from a weekend away to discover this on my back porch. If a pigeon can do this in 36 hours, think of what I could accomplish in the same time frame! All it takes is raw materials and an egg up my kiester.
