Writing Myself Into Wholeness

“I write entirely to find out what I’m thinking,
what I’m looking at, what I see and what it means.
What I want and what I fear.”
~Joan Didion

I haven't been posting as frequently as I usually do. I suppose this is due to the fact that I've been thinking and ruminating and pondering some really big important things. And instead of writing about them publicly, which is scary and overwhelming, I've been writing about them in my journal. Private, far-reaching thoughts must sometimes be fully germinated, watered and fed before being transplanted into the public garden. As Joan Didion says, I write to find out what I'm thinking and what it means.

I "get" it - and the garden analogy is SO apt...
