A Walk Through My Winter Garden

We've not really had a winter this year. Texas is funny that way. Snow and sleet one month and 80 degree days the next. Yesterday we had glorious sunny weather. I spent the afternoon scrubbing our chicken coop, adding new sand to the coop floor, putting onions and kale transplants in the ground and cutting back our crazy out-of-control mint. I also cleaned up our tool storage area. It felt good to be in the garden, so I commemorated the moment and took some photos to share with you. Have a great weekend!

Posts like this make me VERY eager for spring-like temperatures! (I pinned the photo of your fence. What a great idea for hanging hand tools...)

I'm jealous! It's going to hit 50.....maybe today. My gardening is still a couple of months out. Love the Garden Goddess.
