May | Garden Report

After days and days of heavy rain, and after having been away for over a week, I finally had a sunny Monday to weed my beds, tie up my tomatoes and beans, and do some general tidying around the garden. My favorite new addition to the backyard homestead are the Tibetan prayer flags I picked up on my recent trip to Eastern Oregon.

How is your garden doing this month?

And just for fun... a quick photo of Nina and Billie.

My garden is an acre of lawns, massive old trees and beds of flowers and ivy.
Two Garden Club ladies owned this house before we came along .. TWO Garden Club ladies planted beds of ... everything. It is wonderful and the bird life is amazing and I am selling it :)
But gardens are just the best thing ever ... small peaceful planets where you can go be still and quiet ..
