Girl Fort

Every woman needs an escape hatch; a little getaway plan. Since I'm so intricately linked to my home through family and work, I think my getaway plan needs to be in my back yard. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a separate space tucked away into the recesses of the back yard? Yes. I think a Girl Fort is definitely worth considering.

And, of course, here is my mother's sweet shed, nestled at the edge of her flower garden in Eastern Oregon. I think I may move in to this shed when my kids graduate high school and leave home.

Aahhh! And I wouldn't hear dear hubby's TV blaring the movie "Jaws" while I try to relax over a nice breakfast? Sounds like heaven!
I feel I must tell you that I read your ALL your posts and thoroughly enjoy them, but have gotten lazy since subscribing to email delivery. I read, but never click through to comment. Just want you to know I'm loving your blog!
Enjoy the last little bits of your lovely summer.

You'll have to kick me out of my shed, and trust me, I won't go without a fight!
I love the glass house. It reminds me of my friend's Spirit House she has on the back of her property.
