New Easel

I picked up an aluminum easel at Lula B's Vintage Consignment last week for a song. And this morning I painted on it for the first time.  It was such fun to paint on a sturdy easel instead of crouching on the floor trying to keep my sleeve out of the paint. Here is a shot of this morning's work:

24" X 24" acrylic - available HERE

Can you tell I've been enjoying the work of Michelle Armas lately?
She's my inspiration for today's painting.

And here's an image of my new easel...

Here's one on eBay!  The Stanrite 500

I have the same easel! Mine's covered in paint and has lots of fun dents, but I love it. Sturdy and easy to transport. Congrats on your new find and all the creative energy you have lately. You are a true inspiration!

Love it - I bought a cheap easel from Pearls Art Store and am definitely missing my real easel I couldn't bring with me in the move!

Love the colors in your painting!
