Black and White and Something More

The weather has turned here in Dallas.  It's 29 degrees this morning.  The slow autumn decay is accelerating as the winds strip the trees of their leaves.  The naked black branches stand stark against the cream white sky announcing winter's arrival.  It reminds me of how much I adore this color combination.

Great examples of a great concept:

black and white is OK ... BUT, black and white with *something more* is stupendous! It's wonderful how the addition of a touch of brown, or gray, or green, or yellow can add such a rich extra dimension, and actually enhance the age-old combo of black and white.

Thanks for yet another valuable lesson!
