Yesterday I shared with you a tool shed that lies to the west of my Mama's farm house in Richland, Oregon. Today, I thought we'd take an informal tour of the house! The home was built at the beginning of the 1900's. It lies on a small plot of land near the Eagle Creek. My mama and her sweet husband, Obbie, are still in the process of refurbishing the main house, but here is a little peek as it stands today.
My mom has created a beautiful little office and sewing room in the upstairs bedroom.
Here is the master bedroom on the first floor.
The piece below was painted on a slab of old weathered wood.
This is the room that my husband and I always stay in. Its filled with all sorts of sweet family memorabilia, like the marriage certificate of my great-grandparents below.
This is a photo of my great-grandmother Beatrice Viola Noble Cochran.
My brother is visiting the farm from Chicago, so my Mama made up this little room on the back patio. It used to be a canning porch, and is the future site of a bathroom. That's their next big project!
Tomorrow, We'll finish the house tour with a look
at the exterior of the house and the gardens!

Sarah, such an inviting home full of wonderful memories! It reminds me of visiting my aunt and uncle in the country, and their home/farm.
