I've been on the road for the past two days, driving from my Mama's farm in Oregon to my place in Dallas. Today, I'm writing from a roadside motel in Russell, Kansas and I thought I'd add on to yesterday's post about my favorite color. Once I add a bit of blue to a room, I like to introduce a pop of green. How about you? What's your favorite color combo? (My other one is mustard yellow and gray.)

Here in this home of ours, all the walls are a warm pale yellow. One room has red in it, another has celery green and one has cobalt blue.
I like to add the small Pop of colors with flowers or pillows etc and those colors would generally be turquoise, orange or dark blue velvet.
Right now I am drifting, waiting for summer to come and then I am hoping to slip cover my sofa and to have new down cushions made for it .. colors are all we talk about.
I am vacillating between old gold and dark grey velvet .. or some sort of red toile on white..
I change my mind every 2 hours :)
Awesome rooms. It used to be yellow, but I find myself adding variations of this blue to just about any interior!!
Interesting shades of green, the painting in the last picture is fantastic!
