There are so many ways to keep a kitchen tidy. The photos below make my traditional cupboards look downright boring. I have that feeling again - the one where I might rip off all of the doors and expose my shelves. Wow. I sound like a flasher.
I hate dust, too. HATE it. But I find with open shelves, the secret is only to have them for things you use very often. That way everything is continually being washed. we created open shelves for just part of our kitchen. The fact that there is no solid surface below helps the dust situation, too!
I took off the doors from my kitchen uppers as soon as we moved in. My husband thought I lost my mind when I did, haha! Long story short, everybody ended up loving my "crazy idea", and even hubs is a believer now ;)

I don't love the junk in my cabinets enough to show it off, and I don't like to dust either.
These are kitchens are gorgeous! Loving the rustic touch. Have a beautiful day, Kellie xx
When it comes to storage space I am a freak, I don't like things being any where else than in their place.

I love open shelving, but I know mine would never look as cool as these :) Plus, there would be no where to shove things when people come over! Haha.
Love love love the last image. Just piles of platters, bowls on top of that commercial work station make me happy. xx's
