I just found these images over at annekata, a wonderful homespun blog about stitching, sewing, crafting, coffee and other wonders. This is a coffee house in Sopot, Poland called Jozef K. This place is amazing. I really want to see the rest of it. I'll just have to go there and order a cup of coffee and explain to the barista that I traveled almost 6,000 miles to have a cup of joe and sit on their old couches.
And please keep Japan in your thoughts today... this tsunami hit their coast last night.

:) I didn't know about this place. Im from Poland but this place is strange for me as well. (But I live 500 km from this place) Whenever I will be in Sopot I will go there. The name "Jozef K." is from the book Franz Kafka (from Austria) "Process" . Have you heard about it? Jozef K. is the main character in this story. Interesting book. I recomend it. As you recomend a place in Sopot :) Regards from Poland.
Oh couldn't you just imagine sitting there all day with a cup of coffee, watching the world go by?? Gorgeous!!
I love the old world feeling of it. Not overdone, just used very frequently! Reminds me of some places that I found in Vienna!
The place you featured is amazing.
It's a tragedy what happened in Japan.
Oh, I could spend hours there! So cozy and welcoming! Thanks for sharing it. I will hop on over to Annekata's blog and check it out, too!

This place has such a wonderful cosy and chilled out vibe.
It is so dreadful and sad what's happened in Japan. I keep seeing the news reports and all my day to day worries seem so silly and insignificant. Thoughts and best wishes are with all those affected.
6000 miles indeed -- would probably be worth it to.
Thinking of Japan today...

If you like the design of this place, the I guess you'd be interested in seeing another Polish cafe - W Oparach Absurdu in Warsaw . Unfortunately, their website is currently down, but you still can see a few shots on their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/album.php?id=168591776513927&aid=34413
Enjoy!
