Your Style in One Picture

Ally at From the Right Bank has issued her annual “What’s Your Style in One Picture Challenge!” In short, the challenge is to find one picture that sums up your design style. So here is my entry!


I love this image for many reasons. The overall Bohemian eclectic look is definitely right up my alley. The shelving, books, art and furniture are all pushed together, which creates a wonderful intimacy for the space. The filtered light, dark faded colors and tufted French chairs suggest an earlier era. I find the whole space romantic, inviting and mysterious.
