Vintage Enamel Brooches

Inspired by Melissa's mirrors at Sweet Gypsy Promise, I'm posting today about vintage enamel brooches. We've all got one or two or eight tucked away somewhere in a forgotten jewelry box. I have a purple butterfly that belonged to my grandmother circa 1974 and a white daisy which I took from my mom's jewelry box (I think) in high school. I say, pull them out and wear them! Attach them to a barrette or a shoe or, in Melissa's case, a mirror. They're so sunny and special and everyone needs a little dash of color - especially in the summer! Don't forget about our giveaway! There is still time to enter. It ends tonight!

Yes, pull your vintage brooches out and do something with them! I bought a baggie-full of vintage rhinestone and enamel brooches at an estate sale and, although I loved them, let them languish in my jewelry cabinet. Then I was robbed. Now they're gone. I miss them more than some of the "good" stuff I had.
