For some reason violet always seemed like a no-no for me when designing rooms for my home. Maybe I never had the right hue. It always ended up looking kind of Goth. But oh my, look how lovely violet can be!
I just love the pictures you post! I've just bought my first home and in decorating it I often look to your site for pictures that inspire me to reach for some beautiful looks. thank you!

Very cool. I used to have a smoky violet bedroom. I adored it. It went nicely w/my old dark wood floors.
