Chalk Board Paint
Again, probably old news to you... but I've just discovered chalk board paint! What a fantabulous idea. I love the write-on qualities, of course, but I also would consider it as color for a bedroom or dining room. The dusky black quality is really nice on large scale.

I am trying to decide on a space to use this in the new place! I agree - I love it as a color for the walls as well!
we are about to start brendan's chalkboard wall this coming week :D
oh, also, there is a new kind of tintable chalkboard paint at home depot. You can make it blue, red, green, whatever color you want. That way when it's not in use as a chalkboard, you still get some color :)
