Roseville Pottery

My great-grandfather once worked at the Roseville Pottery Plant in Zanesville, Ohio. Because of this, our family has an extensive collection of Roseville pieces. There is something graceful about this pottery. The shapes are organic and the floral patterns are impressionistic. This pottery is certainly "of an era" and reminds me of my grandmother, who was responsible for keeping the collection together. The pieces below were found on auction sites. Aren't they lovely?

You make me want to get out some of my pieces and display them again. I'm afraid they've been relegated to the safety of a box somewhere. How foolish. It makes me happy to see them, so why did I pack them away? I'm going hunting for them. See ya! Love, Mama
