Pristine Green

I was browsing Keltainen Talo Rannalla this morning and stumbled upon the photography of Polly Wreford. I love this springy grass green color. It seems perfectly suited for a Tuesday in April. Enjoy.

Cars Cars Cars

My son is obsessed with things that go. Cars are his purpose for living right now. I usually am apprehensive to decorate with cars because I think they're...well... boring. But then again, I'm not a 17 month-old. However, I found this wallpaper and thought, "This I could live with." Maybe just one wall?

American Bungalow

My dream house is a craftsman. The arts and crafts movement is an enormous inspiration to me and these bungalows from the Pacific Northwest are lovely, lovely, lovely. The American Bungalow can be found all over the country and I'm sure that someday, the right one will come along!

The giraffes might be wonderful on a wall in my son's bedroom!

Paper Birds in a Window

Anthropologie kicked off their '09 season with a fantastic window display of paper birds flying in a flock. They are made of paper and fabric, suspended by nylon string. I'm still thinking about them three months later. I'd love to create something like this in my bedroom. What do you think?

One Nightstand

Its the last thing you look at before falling asleep and the first thing you see upon waking. Shouldn't it be lovely and appeal to your senses? Then why is mine cluttered with old water glasses, crinkled magazines, Chap Stick, lozenge wrappers and contact solution? I need to rethink my nightstand. What's on your nightstand?

And as per reader's request here was my own nightstand last month... a more organized and peaceful month than the one we now inhabit.

Crayon Rings

How cool are these? I love art supplies and I love jewelry. I think these rings were made for me! You can find them at The Future Perfect.
