Sick in Bed

I'm sick in bed today.  I think its part of the wicked one-puke-tummy-bug that's sweeping the state of Texas. Below is a photo from 1928 of the LA Library's "Books for the Sick" program.  Looks pretty good, eh?  The book part, not the sick part.

Today I'm readying "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver.
So far, it's amazing.  Have you read it?

Hope you feel better soon. That is a pretty neat travelling library. Wouldn`t mind having one of those. As to your book, I`ve never heard of it, so off to amazon to check it out I go.
Drink lots of OJ.

Yep, ONE. Its so weird - you're sick all day and your bowels go crazy and then at the end of your misery, you up chuck and then you feel better. So weird.

The upside of being sick, immersing yourself in a good read and not feel one bit of guilt about not getting anything else done.
