Every once in a while someone will ask me, "Do you pin?" Its funny because it sometimes feels like someone is asking if I "toke" or "party". But instead of weed, its
Pinterest, an online pin board for inspiring images, recipes, quotes and crafts. And I suppose it is like a drug, because I'm pretty addicted these days. And it has really transformed how I search and catalog images for my blog. It's certainly not perfect, but its sure fun! Here are some randdom goodies I found on Pinterest this week.
This amazing tile...
This stunning peacock door...
This phenomenal roof-top garden in Manhattan...
And this ridiculously groovy chair...
So...
Do you pin?

Sarah. This is so funny. Yes, I DO PIN. And I just did a post about pinning, too! Love your stuff.

Sure do! I am quite hooked.
Funny you ask. I am uncertain about it.
While it is a great source for some reasons, I purposely do not get my potential blog photos from Pinterest- I'd like to be more independent. Unless the photo credits can be traced all the way back to the original source, it just doesn't seem right to use it. Saying the source is just Pinterest is not fair to me.
It'll be interesting to watch & see where this all goes.
Ann - I feel similarly about the sourcing issue. Pinterest is not the "source" obviously and it is frustrating when I can't track the image back.
I like it very much, colours, wood, flowers, imagination, marvellous floors....
