I'm a throw pillow whore and I don't care who knows it. Recently, I saw an embroidered suzani throw pillow that I really wanted, but it cost a million-ga-jillion dollars. Of course, I had to walk away. Then, while browsing
Cost Plus World Market, I found some napkins on sale that had a similar pattern and color scheme as the super expensive throw pillow. I bought two of the sale napkins ($1.99 each) to convert into throw pillows! I backed them with material from an old green twill curtain, found two inexpensive down pillow inserts from
IKEA and
voilà - a perfect pair. What do you think?
for naming me one of her "Stylish Bloggers". Made my day!

These look amazing!! You've just inspired me to go napkin shopping ;) I JUST learned how to sew and am pretty sure I am on the verge of becoming a pillow whore are well!
Agata, by all means steal this idea! Its super easy and you don't have to cut the napkins because they are already standard throw pillow size (19.5" X 19.5").
These are so cool and pretty. I wish I knew how to sew as well. You make it look so easy.
I'm thinking they're absolutely gorgeous! xoxo
This is a fabulous idea - love it! I'll keep my eye out for pretty napkins from now on :)
