Nice to find your blog; it's lovely, and thanks for this post as it cheered me up today as I looked around my Persian-rugged-out room with all my velvet furniture and dark wood and wondered to myself if I wasn't getting sick of my 'bohemian clutter-bug' look - you have reassured me it's just post-Christmas blues. Think it's just time to re-jig the look, not obliterate it entirely!!

These rooms just make me more determined to find a huge old worn Oriental rug that will not cost more than my house.
