Ah, Joni. Always my fave. Most of you lovely bohemian readers know this already, but the era of the female singer song writer is not dead. It is alive and well. And personally, I'm a little tired of hearing the usual super enhanced radio stuff - Gaga, Britney, Christina... I'm just kind of over it. So here is a little palate cleanser: if you don't have these musical mavens on your iPod, do yourself a favor and do some downloading! These sister-friends have been keeping me in good stead lately and I wanted to just pass on the love. And if you've got a favorite lady of the canyon who isn't mentioned here, leave a comment and point me in the right direction!

Just went to the screening of Feist's doc, last night in Toronto. It was wonderful - she was enigmatic and hilarious. Very silly and candid - it was great show. I recommend it to anyone needing a little inspiration!
