Symmetry
There is something really soothing about visual symmetry in the home. I usually have my furniture and objects strewn about the house. My couches are on the diagonal, my end tables are wildly mismatched and most of the arrangements in my home tend to be right brained. But sometimes the beautiful sense of order and calm induced by symmetry is just what my home needs. Here are some examples of symmetry done right:

I love the bedroom. it's so simple. I like when there is only a few colors in the bedroom and the focal point is the bed cover.

Oh, pero si la simetría es perseguida por el ser humano en la naturaleza... ¡pero ella es más rápida! Y es imposible en el arte y como prueba... cualquier cuadro de Picasso ;-)
