My sweet Charlie is home from the NICU. He is stable and shifting to all out-patient care. Now begins the work of meeting in the coming weeks with Charlie's entourage of specialists - a talented team of doctors who will assess our situation and devise a plan of care for Charlie's many health issues. In the meantime, Charlie and I are spending a lot of time in bed, babymooning. It's times like these when I am so grateful for our beautiful, inviting bed. Charlie and I have a wonderful little spot to nurse, nap, cuddle and call our own. Here's my photo-homage to yummy beds:
And here is our little dream-weaver asleep on my bed:
hey sarah, i usually just read ur blog without leaving any comments, but i just wanted to say mazal tov, and let u know u guys are in my prayers and thoughts. it's good to be home, and have faith and be optimistic as u are. sending u long hugs from Israel.
I have only recently discovered your blog and have spent the last week or so going through your archives and have now seen every post you have done. They're great. I was pleasantly surprised when I came back to the first page to see that you had your baby but saddened to hear about his health problems. Best of luck to you and the little dude. X.
