Rouge

I'm an absolute suck for red walls. I've had at least one red wall or two in every apartment I've ever lived in. I decided that in our new home, I'd refrain from my overwhelming impulse to go red. But I'm having red room withdrawals and after seeing this photo on Flickr, I'm rethinking the red room option. Here are a few more that make me happy:

Maybe I could do a red splash like these fabulous curtains or a red area rug?

I love red walls too. I used a red in my house that usually looks a warm tone, sort of brownish red similar to Benjamin Moore autumn leaf. In different lighting it can look deep magenta red or quite terra cotta. This is interesting because I painted a long wall that runs through my kitchen and dining room in this red. I have touches of red (( think brick red is my favourite) all over my house, including two couches in my livingroom.

I love your blog. I anticipate it daily:)
