I usually don't decorate for Halloween, but I've got a kid now and we've got to do something, right? So I picked up a pumpkin from the grocery store and hacked it up into a jack-o-lantern. The photos below have me rethinking my decorating approach. Maybe instead of butchering an orange gourd in honor of my son's first real Halloween, I should try something a little more elegant.

Great photos! I recently acquired a "blue" pumpkin (much like the one in the fifth photo) and have been curious what it would look like if I hacked into it! Would the insides be blue, green, gray, orange?! I've heard it called a "blue" pumpkin but it is really more of a greenish gray color on the outside. . . I think I might have to see for myself! Happy Halloween!
your son will be forever grateful that you hacked it into a jackolantern and not a studded gourd.
I adore tiny white pumpkins. I picked up entirely too many and gave them as gifts. I've even accessorized them around the house. we have pumpkins to carve, so I may come up with a fun design for my blue pumpkin.
