Whimsical Paris Home
I am completely charmed by this Parisian home owned by designer Patrice Gruffaz. The purple, green and red color scheme is gorgeous and the carved wooden mushroom table and chairs are amazing. Playful whimsy mixed with old world architecture, stacks of books, interesting art and bird figures scattered about - what's not to love?

Artist Feature | Paco Camús
Paco Camús describes his pieces as "functional sculptures" and are a cross between furniture and art. His pieces are so unique that it is sometimes difficult to ascertain their function just by looking. I have a soft spot in my heart for all things Art Nouveau, and these pieces seem to stem from that tradition. Hailing from Valencia Spain, Paco now makes his home in Connecticut. He studied Industrial Design and was influenced by comic book art of the '80's. But I'll wager that if he were pressed, he would agree with their Art Nouveau connection. Check out these astonishing furniture pieces below:

White Dining Tables
I love the look of a white table. I've made good use of the little country style Ikea table in my kitchen, but lately I've been enjoying the more modern Parson and Tulip style tables. I especially love the table pictured directly below. I took this photo while covering a home tour for Houzz.com last summer. It is still one of my all-time favorite tables. I found some good look-a-likes below at Furniture Choice - a UK furniture company. Maybe someday I'll have a gleaming white table like this, but I think I should hold off until my sons stop marking their territory with crayons.

Primal and Most Innocent Delights
Hello dear readers and a very Happy Thanksgiving to you all! Today, I'm home with my little family enjoying a day of gratitude. We have some beloved neighbors joining us later in the afternoon for a meal, but mostly my husband and I will be cooking, sipping yummy alcoholic things, watching A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving with our boys and tasting pots of delicious things as they emerge from the oven. Gratitude. Today and everyday.
Thank you for being here, dear readers!
I so appreciate that you read and comment. xo

Green Dining Chairs
I've got little shots of green all over my house, but I'm very tempted to go all out and surround my dining table with green green green. I've been collecting photos for a while and thought you might enjoy seeing some of what I'm thinking. The cool thing about this color is that it doesn't matter whether you choose a vintage or contemporary style and shape, it always looks contemporary and fresh. What do you think?
