Sun Bleached Desert Pinks

Today, I am in love the sun bleached pinks of Mexico and Morocco. I imagine that one can't help but smile in the presence of these gorgeous colors. If I owned a desert hacienda, washed hot pink would definitely be on the menu!

My Kind of Pink

Today a little free association: a poem and some photos.

A full-lipped whisper hidden under
a bright sky migration.
Flushed cheeks after tumbling from the high down.

Love's patina seeps through the skin
and transforms the blood of surprise
into a rushed "yes, yes please".

Dusty pink.
Whispers of Gray.
Paris light.
A clean kitchen.
The perfect coat.
A velvet love seat.
Linen.

October's Rosy Golden Hours

The light quality at this particular time of year is always so dreamy. Those overcast mornings followed by slanting golden rays in the afternoon. I feel my whole self settle in the autumn months. Today, I'm sharing a few interior details that reflect the colors of the season. Taupe, rose, gold and brown are so beautiful together.

Rosy Lacy Boho

I'll finish up my summer travels tomorrow, but today I'm enjoying my final day in Seattle. The sun is out and the breeze is divine. A beautiful summer day like this calls for a rosy, lacy boho frock.

When Bohemians Do Pink

This morning I awoke to my five year old requesting Valentines, which were to be handed out today in class. Mommy fail! So, I worked some mama-craft magic and produced eleven handmade Valentines in about 10 minutes thanks to THIS post I found via Pinterest.  Construction paper, scissors, hole punch, old balloons from last birthday party - BOOM.  Handmade Valentines, ta da!

Today, I'm thinking pink.
I don't have a lot of pink in my house or in my wardrobe.
But if I did, it would go a little something like this:

The Divine Feminine

...
Think of them as lovely alters to the divine feminine.
All of the beds below are fit for a goddess - or at least goddess worship.
