Hello dear readers. I'm just back from a whirlwind visit to New York, where I accompanied my husband on a business trip. He worked all day, while I hoofed it around Midtown and spent a few lovely hours with dear friends. I'll be back to my regular programing tomorrow, but in the meantime, here's a little photo tour of my time alone in the Big Apple.
Que bonito post, me he paseado por tu bloc y me ha encantado.

ReplyDeleteSo glad you saw the Matisse cut-outs. I saw a marvelous segment about that exhibit - probably on CBS Sunday morning!! Also, really good you beat the blizzard leaving NYC.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! My husband and I just booked a trip to Maine and NYC in early May. I'm more excited than I thought I would be. May I ask which hotel you used and what you thought of it? There are so many choices and the prices so crazy that I'm second guessing my choice!
ReplyDeleteWe stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Times Square because my husband was there for work - we did not pay for the hotel, so I have no idea what their rooms go for. It was nice because we were really central and the rooms were super clean.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of NY, I just love this city!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing,

My very favorite city. And the O. Wilde quote hit me like a ton of bricks as I had a dinner party with a group of bankers the other night and all we discussed was great literature!
