There is nothing that soothes the soul like an inviting table. Have a seat. Enjoy the conversation. Compliment the chef. And remember that there is always time for one more glass of wine.
I really want those chairs in the last photo. I have new Thonet chairs.. with black leather seats and that beautiful dark stained curved wood back and legs.. but of course, I now want something light and cushy :)

ReplyDeleteGreat post - you're right that nothing is better than a good table. I especially like old, beat up wooden ones. They just say "home" to me.
