Growing up I remember my grandmother's battery (pots and pans tree) at the corner of her kitchen by the sink. It was so convenient and unpretentious... I love it.
I love this new trend toward open shelving and a less "kitcheny" style of decor in the kitchen. If I could, I would rip out my cabinets and use only vintage cupboards and open shelving. Why hide what you love?
Does look great! Had that in my Paris kitchen: Collects a lot of dust so either you use them all quite often (was the way in the old days) or don't mind dusting
