Autumn Giveaway!
My absolute favorite thing about Autumn is that I finally get to pull my scarves out of hiding. And since autumn is finally here in Dallas, I want to celebrate by giving away this cozy scarf from the Maison Boheme Etsy store! ReplyDeleteI love watching the different colored leaves fall and I drive through the tree-lined streets of my neighborhood. I love watching the kids play outside in the mild weather. I love the smell of fires in the fireplaces. Mmmmm...I love fall.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about autumn is the delicious foods and scents that become available like Pumpkin Spice! I also love all of the fall colors and the crisp weather!
Abbie, I used three separate yarns, the first is a soft cotton twill, the second, a soft wool and the third, a rayon/poly blend.

ReplyDeleteI am relatively new to your blog and I've enjoyed all your posts. The scarf is lovely. I love just about everything about fall. I love the colors of fall, pumpkins, leaves and the smells of bread baking in the oven. Living in the the south - the season represents relief from the heat and of course SEC football!!
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to love about autumn. Crisp, cool air. Crunchy leaves under foot. Comfort food. Cuddling in front of a fire. Cozy slippers and bathrobe with a cup of something steaming hot. It's my forever favorite time. Love the scarf!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about autumn is the crisp weather...or at least, it was when I lived in the Midwest. Autumn in Texas isn't quite as crisp. ;)

When I lived in New England my favorite thing was going apple picking and making pies when we got home. Now that we are in Dallas my favorite thing is that it finally cools down enough to not need a gallon of water anytime you are outside :)
ReplyDeleteOh wonderful! My favorite things about autumn are winter clothes and pumpkin everything. I love boots and wool socks and grandma's knit sweaters. I love pumpkin soup, and pumpkin candles, and pumpkin lattes, and pumpkin ice cream. And I think your scarf is beautiful.

ReplyDeletegosh...Fall is my favorite season...the smell of cinnamon, baked apples...the sight of pumpkins and mums...the gorgeous color around white rock lake...the swishy sound my feet make while walking across the leaves...the way the wind just randomly gusts and sends a rainshower of leaves coming down and makes the kids in my class giggle...

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about autumn is having both the air conditioner and heater off and opening up the house for fresh air (well, and the lower electricity bills that come along with not using the a/c).
My favorite thing about this time of year is I look good in the clothes! lol I love all the autumn colors!! <3
