Instead of running down to the Home Depot for another gallon of something bright and bold, perhaps I should take a hint from these gorgeous spaces. They are so clean, fresh, calm and free. The light quality and creamy colors are divine.
I always fall for pictures of light and creamy, but I find that generally I can't live without colour. colour always creeps in. I once tried to make an al white garden, but that didn't last. I like creamy walls in a bedroom but colour accents, especially blues and greens. For the main rooms I like stronger and warmer colours. I also love wood in its natural state or stained instead of painted. I think wood tones and a creamy palette are pretty. If its my house, colour always sneaks in, but if the walls and main furnishings are creamy, you can remove or change the colours.
